About

Stone Counseling and Consulting provides clinical supervision services for individuals and agencies/programs, as well as alcohol and drug assessments, mental health assessments, and therapy services.

We specialize in using and teaching a trauma-informed approach for working with our clients as well as both emerging and experienced clinical staff.

Services are available with Tammy Stone and/or her team members either virtually or at our office spaces at:

2603 Elm Hill Pike, Suites C&D, Nashville, TN 37214.

  • Clinical supervision for therapists

    For those seeking or maintaining their LPC and LPC-MHSP:

    Tammy Stone and Melissa Hudgens offer individual, “paired” individual, and group supervision.

    Tammy, Marlena, and Melissa offer core function/8 domain education, open supervision groups, individual supervision sessions, and elective CEU classes.

  • Clinical Consultation and Supervision for programs

    Tammy Stone and her team of QCS supervisors have decades of experience and are available for consultation for:

    Building new programs or revamping current ones

    Developing, amending and implementing policies and procedures

    Staff trainings on counseling modalities or special topics

    Other consultation services as requested and agreed upon.

  • Assessments

    We offer DOT/SAP Assessments, Alcohol and Drug Assessments, and Mental Health Assessments for court or other needs.

  • Therapy: Individual and Group

    We offer in-person and telehealth services in the State of Tennessee treating trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. We may use modalities including Experiential, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and more.

    LPC-MHSP, LADAC II, QCS

    Tammy has worked as a therapist for over 30 years specializing in trauma and substance abuse. She has supervised hundreds of therapists seeking their LPC, MHSP, LADAC, and CPRS. Tammy is passionate about helping her clients find freedom from their symptoms and helping therapists hone their skills.

  • Melissa Hudgens

    LPC-MHSP, LADAC II, QCS

    Melissa has worked in the addiction and mental health field for over 25 years. She specializes in trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. She also supervises therapists seeking their LPC-MHSP and LADAC. Melissa is passionate about helping people find purpose and deeper connections and helping therapists be the best they can be.

  • Marlena McClure

    LMSW, LADAC II, QCS, CAADAC

    Marlena's focus is providing services for those in recovery from addiction and/or trauma using an intersectional and integrative lens.

    She has a special affinity for working with emerging adults/young adults, creatives, and marginalized voices.

    Marlena has been in the treatment field since 2010, and also offers supervision for individuals seeking their LADAC licensure.

    I am a post-masters clinician working toward licensure and passionate about helping individuals forge their own path along the journey of recovery.
